Welcome to Christ Church (Church of England) Infant School and Nursery. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We are a friendly, welcoming and nurturing two-form entry infant school with a separate Nursery, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. Whether you are a current member of our school community or visiting us for the first time, I hope our website gives you a sense of the warmth, care and ambition that make Christ Church such a special place to learn and grow.

We believe that childhood is a precious time to build strong foundations for the future. Inspired by the words of Proverbs 22:6, "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it," we strive to provide a safe, supportive and inspiring environment where children develop a lifelong love of learning and a strong sense of character.

Our school is a place where children from all backgrounds are welcomed and celebrated. We recognise and value the unique gifts, talents and experiences that every individual brings to our community. We want every child and family to feel that they belong and are an important part of our school family.

Our Christian values of Love, Kindness, Friendship, Honesty, Perseverance and Respect underpin school life and are woven through our learning, relationships and daily experiences. Alongside our school rules of Being Ready, Responsible and Respectful, these values help children learn how to care for one another, make positive choices and become thoughtful members of their community.
