Nursery

The morning and afternoon nursery sessions are both for 15 hours per week.

​

Morning Session

 

8.30am -11.30am (with flexible start time / welcome session up to 9am if needed)

​

Afternoon Session
 

12.15pm - 3.15pm (with flexible start time / welcome session up to 12.45pm if needed)

 

The first half hour of each session is a 'welcome session' prior to the formal start of the session at 9am or 12.45pm.

​

Children can join the welcome session at any time between 8.30am and 9am (for morning nursery) and between 12.15pm and 12.45pm (for afternoon nursery).  

Children must attend all five sessions each week.

Infants

 

The infant school week is currently 31.25 hours. The school day has been reviewed for September 2024 and increased to 32.5 hours per week

The school day is from 8.50am until 3.30pm

The playground gates are opened at 8.40am when children may come to the playground supervised by their parent or childminder.

​

Children should stand with their parent or childminder to ensure a calm start to the school day free of incident or upset.

​

School starts at 8.50am when the bell is rung. 
Year 1 and 2 children should make their own way to their classrooms to encourage independence and an efficient start to the school day; when whether is inclement, children access their classrooms through the hall.

Registers close at 9.00am. Any child arriving after that time will be given a late mark in the register. 
For security purposes the gate is locked at 9.00am and all late-comers should ring the bell by the main entrance and report to the school office. 

The school gate is opened at 3.25pm for parents or childminders to come on to the playground to meet the children coming out of their classrooms at 3.30pm. Please contact the school if you are to be late arriving to collect your child. 
Children not collected immediately come to the entrance hall to be supervised until collection.
