Year 2 Singing at Church

Dear Parents,

Year Two have been asked to open the Church Christmas Fayre by singing a few Christmas Songs. This is something that Christ Church has done for many years and it is a good way for the children to perform to an audience and also to support the Church in their fundraising endeavours.

The Christmas Fayre will take place at the Good Shepherd Church on the Castlecroft Road on Saturday 26th November. Mrs Billson and I will be at the Church ready to meet the children at 10.45am. The children will sing a few songs to open the fayre and then they can visit the stalls and activities along with their adult. The event starts at 11.00am and so those few minutes before hand will just give us time to organise the children so that they can be seen.

It would be wonderful if as many children in Year Two as possible could join us at the Church to represent our school. The children should come in their Christmas jumpers and hats to get into the carol singing spirit. Please can parents stay at the church with their child so that they can be handed directly back to you after the performance.

Please complete the consent form below so that we know how many children to expect and the space that will be needed.

Merry Christmas

Mrs Blower and Mrs Billson
