Strike Action

Monday 27th February 2023

Dear Parents,

STRIKE ACTION

I am now in a position to advise parents of the impact on the school due to the intended strike action called by the NEU. I have consulted with staff and three classes in the Junior school will be impacted. All infant classes will run as normal.

The children in class 5K will not be able to attend school on Wednesday 1st March as their regular class teacher has informed the school of their intention to strike.

A further two teachers have not shared their intentions with the school and so we have put plans in place to ensure the safety of the children in those two classes, if their regular teachers do not attend for work. We are able to provide cover for these two classes, on that day, if needed.

Due to the uncertainty of how many staff will be taking action, we are unable to provide cover for all classes. The safety of the children remains our priority.

If there are any further changes I will inform you at the earliest opportunity.

Yours sincerely

Mrs S Blower

Executive Head Teacher
