Nurses- Year 4 girls, Year 5, Year 6

Dear Parents


On Tuesday 16th May, the school nurse will be working with the staff and children in year 5 and Year 6 on a programme of work on health and sex education. The nurses will also deliver a session to year 4 girls about periods.


The following content will be delivered:


Children in Year 5: Changes related to puberty.


Children in Year 6: Puberty, relationships, reproduction and conception, how babies are born, safe relationships and internet safety.


Girls in year 4- Periods


I have attached a link to the PSHE page on our website where the PowerPoint presentations provided by the nurses can be viewed. If you have any questions regarding the sessions, please do not hesitate to give the school office a call.
