Junior Christmas Activities

16th November 2021

Dear Parents,

The festive season is fast approaching and whilst we have many exciting activities planned for the children due to current restrictions we are unable to go ahead with Christmas Nativities or invite parents into school.

Christmas Cards

Children are welcome to send Christmas cards to their year group. Each year group will have their own collection box.

Christmas Jumper & Christmas Dinner Day On Wednesday 8th December, we will be supporting Save the Children. Children can wear a Christmas jumper or ‘Christmassy’ non-uniform to school on this day. If the children could bring a voluntary contribution of £1 we will ensure the money raised goes to Save the Children.

Christmas Church Service

On Friday 17th December, the children will attend church for our Christmas Service. Unfortunately, we are unable to invite parents to this service. After several discussions, the decision has been made that this service will be for children and staff only. As much as we would love to have the whole Christ Church Community together, we would hate for children and their families to have to isolate for the festive period. We hope you understand and support our reasons.

Christmas Party Afternoon

On Thursday 16th December, all year groups will celebrate with a Christmas party afternoon. The children should come to school dressed in their own clothes. Children will play games, have Christmas quizzes and really get into the festive spirit.

We hope to make this an exciting and memorable festive season for our children.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding,

Mrs J Nash

Head of School
